Travel Tip: When choosing a bag, consider your destination

The following is an excerpt from our upcoming book, 300 Healthy Travel Tips.

Travel Tip: Going abroad? Rolling suitcases are great — as long as you're on smooth ground. If your travels take you on unpaved roads, cobblestone streets or steep stairways (which describes much of Europe and other foreign lands), those rollers can become a potential liability. A backpack can be a better solution, so consider where you will be when choosing the best bag for your trip. Also, a bag without wheels is often a lot lighter. It’s yet another argument for packing light.
